Jacob is a Lead Stylist. Lead Stylists are experienced hairstylists who are continually in high demand.

Bio:

Jacob started his hair career in south Florida in 2011. He graduated from the Aveda Institute and worked diligently at his first salon to become a blonde specialist in the sunshine state. After 5 years behind the chair he decided to pursue more advanced education and began to teach hair color for his salon to his new talent team. 

Jacob moved to Portland with his chosen family in 2021 along with his two hairless cats, Hades and Persephone. Now calling Ginger & Maude and the PNW home, he is happy to bring a warm and welcoming connection to every experience given in the salon. 

As a queer person, he believes that connection and community are essential for a happy and balanced life. Behind the chair, Jacob enjoys the classics: blondes, balayage, babylights, dimensional color, and long healthy hair. As a curly-haired person he also enjoys big beautiful bouncy hair with a twist. 

Outside of the salon, Jacob enjoys outdoor hikes, camping and river time in the summers. During the winters he loves video games, board games and Magic the Gathering.
