Karina is a Stylist. Stylists are experienced hairstylists.

Bio: 

Karina came to Portland in 2020 from Denver, CO, with her husband and furry family of two large dogs, two ferrets, a tortoise, and a horse. She spent her childhood in San Diego, then in her 20s the wanderlust hit, and she spent time in many different cities. When she found Portland, though, it felt like home. She decided to stay in the beautiful City of Roses to pursue a more colorful dream of hair for the creative and open-minded people of Portland.

With a strong passion for art since childhood, color wheels and sketchbooks have been a large part of her life. Her artistic background lends her a skill that translates beautifully to hair. Karina's passion lies in color, in particular vivids and blonding.

Karina graduated from Aveda Institute Portland in October of 2021, and her career has continued to flourish from there.

Karina has worked in a multitude of positions from kitchens and doggy day cares, to horse ranches and more. Her experiences taught her the excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in the salon world.

In her spare time, aside from doing witchy things or watching horror movies, Karina practices her fire spinning, and loves seeing what's over the next horizon on a brisk hike. Painting and art continues to be a big part of her life, as she is continuously inspired by the creative and enchanting atmosphere that is Portland.
