Leia is a Lead Stylist. Lead Stylists are experienced hairstylists who are continually in high demand.

Bio:

Leia has led a colorful and varied life, choosing to sample all different manners of living. She has spent time as a horse exercise rider, EMT, legal secretary, and forklift operator at a lumberyard, which has taught her all manner of miscellaneous talents. But nothing speaks to her quite like doing hair. As a painter, playing with the color and shape of hair comes naturally. She loves to create all things magical, ethereal, and colorful. She uses her artistic eye and listening ear to help clients truly feel at home in their skin. After all, beauty is really all about making you feel like YOU, no matter what shape that takes. Self-expression is just a window that peeks into our true selves.

After a long year of quarantine, playing in the dirt in her garden, Leia decided it was time to pursue something new and wonderful; this led her to attend Aveda Institute Portland, where her top priority was making sure clients feel heard and doing everything in her power to execute their beautiful visions. She graduated in July 2021 and received her license in Hair Design in September 2021.

In her free time, Leia enjoys riding her spicy chestnut horse, Tuffy, training her dogs to fetch her beers, hiding in cupboards to scare her long-suffering wife, Bri, painting weird surreal art, obsessively staring at her jungle of fancy houseplants, dressing up like a spooky forest deity, and having long conversations about the nature of existence.
