Bio:

Ligeia sees you: the best looking, most confident you, and that's what got her into hair. Born and raised in New York City, she spent over a decade styling clients in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She understands how looking your best makes you feel your best so you can take on any challenge life throws your way. A forest spirit at heart, Ligeia moved to Portland in 2016, where she continued collaborating with her clients to bring out their deep, inner magic. In her 16 years in the hair industry, she's served in lead stylist, education, and management roles. She was thrilled to level up her experience as part of the team at Ginger & Maude^®!

Ligeia's life beyond the styling chair is all about compassion, creativity, and critters. A lifelong animal lover, she currently shares her home with three ridiculous, outspoken guinea pigs and a wise, plant loving box turtle. She totally wants to pet your dog. An avid reader, she went to school for English and Journalism before switching to hair and brings a storyteller's inquisitiveness to everything she does. She's passionate about art, loves live music and comedy, and can be found hanging out at the Hollywood Theater anytime they're screening new and classic horror movies.
