Maybe you just gracefully emerged (in slow motion, of course) from the sparkling water of Santorini. Or maybe you are gracing the aisles of Powells on a hot summer day looking for a book about the sparkling water of Santorini. No matter your sun-kissed reality, beach waves are completely attainable. Ginger's own beach wave expert, Lauren Cockerham, gives us every last detail.

Here's What You'll Need:

Kevin Murphy Hair Resort Spray

Blow Dryer

Clips

Brush or comb

2" curling iron or wand

Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair/ Bedroom Hair

1.Start off by spraying Kevin Murphy Hair Resort Spray in wet hair. This will give you a beachy texture and heat protection. Blow dry into hair.

2. Once your hair is dry, split your hair in half, one on each side of your head.

3. Depending on how much hair you have you will then take 2-3 horizontal sub sections. Take down the sub section and clip up remaining hair. Within that subsection you will take 2 inch pieces. Comb each piece before you curl.

4. Holding the curling iron vertical you will wrap the hair starting with the middle around the iron. Leaving out the end.

5. Once you have curled the hair, pull on the piece to elongate the curl while it is still warm.

6. Continue throughout each section, varying the direction of the curls. Curl some towards your face and some away from your face. Making sure to curl all pieces right around your face away from your face.

7. Once the curls have cooled, run your fingers through your hair to piece out the curls. Afterwards, spray Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair or Bedroom Hair to give even more texture to your hair.
