The Ginger & Maude Hair Salon in Tigard is growing! They recently added two New Talent hairstylists to their team, Shannon and Julia, which means even more appointment availability for you! Both hairstylists are going through the Ginger & Maude® Training Program, guided by Stylist Educator Nakia, and are only available for those services they have been fully trained to provide, ensuring their clients receive the highest quality of care—the Ginger & Maude way. You can expect to see them offering more services soon!
Julia (she/her)
Julia graduated from Summit Salon Academy for Cosmetology in 2024 and completed a one-year apprenticeship at Magnum Opus Salon before joining Ginger & Maude Hair Salon in Tigard.
Julia is committed to ongoing education and staying up to date with evolving trends, techniques, and styles, so she can continue growing as an artist and bring fresh ideas to every appointment. She’s always ready to take on the mission of helping you reach your hair goals while making sure your experience feels comfortable, personalized, and completely you.
Her biggest goal behind the chair is to create a safe, open, and welcoming space for all communities. Whether you’re looking for a big transformation or a subtle refresh, Julia loves customizing each service to help you feel like the most authentic version of yourself.

In 2025, Shannon took the leap from a 17-year career in education into the beauty industry. With two master’s degrees—including an MBA and a Master’s in Elementary Education—she spent years building connections, creating confidence, and helping others shine. Now, she brings that same heart and intentionality behind the chair.
Her approach is warm, connected, and completely client-centered. She believes every appointment should feel like a personalized experience—not just a trip to the salon.
