Planning your next date night outfit? Don’t forget about your hair!

We love this look by AbyGael because it’s simple, elegant, and a great option for multiple date activities. 

You’ll need:
-A brush
-Curling iron
-Hair elastics
-KEVIN.MURPHY HEATED.DEFENSE (applied when wet and blow-dried in for heat protection)
-KEVIN.MURPHY SESSION.SPRAY FLEX (used for a soft, movable finish)
-KEVIN.MURPHY BEDROOM.HAIR (used for extra texture and hold)


How to do it:

  1. Apply HEATED.DEFENSE to wet hair and blow-dry in.
  2. Starting with the lowest layer, use your curling iron to curl small sections of your hair, wrapping away from your face. It’s helpful to secure the hair you’re not actively curling out of the way. (Alternatively, you can wrap your hair in heatless rollers the night before to get the job done while you sleep!)
  3. Spray layer with SESSION.SPRAY FLEX
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 through all layers of hair.
  5. Take a small section of hair from the uppermost layer of hair (aim to have it sitting just over your ear), spray with BEDROOM.HAIR and braid all the way down. Secure with an elastic.
  6. Do another spritz with BEDROOM.HAIR and gently tug on the loops of the braid to loosen it up a bit.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 on the other side of your head.
  8. Give a final spray all over of SESSION.SPRAY FLEX, brush through to loosen up curls, and you’re done!
